Xplor UK & Ireland is pleased to announce a new series of courses—Transaction Document School—offered by acadami™scheduled for 14-18 September 2009.

The courses will be held at Royal Holloway, University of London in Egham, Surrey which is very close to Heathrow, the M-25 and M-4 motorways, and other public transportation. Classes will begin at 08:30 Monday-Thursday, and at 08:00 on Friday.
The following courses will be available and taught by acadami™ instructors Bill Broddy edp, Bill McCalpin edp, and Dr Michael Turton edp:
- Document Production
(Monday-Tuesday, 14-15 September)
- Two-day course introduces industry associates to fundamental concepts, technologies, and workflow of today’s automated transaction document production environment to understand key terminology within the document production workflow and ability to conceptually connect process steps.

Document professionals must learn the elements of business planning, project management, and production management as they apply specifically to electronic document applications within their enterprises. Each process or project pertaining to a document change, software upgrade, or new piece of hardware has its own lifecycle, in which different roles and skills must be used to successfully complete each phase of the lifecycle
- Credits: 2 Xplor CEUs / 20 EDA/EDP education credits

- One-day course supplements the Fundamentals and Document Lifecycle courses to understand the latest technologies, practices, and techniques associated with the document production workflow; recommended for people who have already taken both courses, or have 5 years industry experience.
- Credits: 1 Xplor CEU | 10 EDA/EDP education credits
Pricing for any combination of these courses is all-inclusive (accommodation beginning Sunday, 13 September, at Royal Holloway as well as all catering included). Discounts are offered for members of Xplor as well as registration for 5 or more from the same company. An additional discount is available if you register for all 5 days of training.
